Kabar mengejutkan datang dari situs pemendek Url berbayar yang cukup populer saat ini yaitu LinkShrink. Menurut notifikasi yang muncul pada dashboard web tersebut, LinkShrink mengatakan secara resmi akan menutup layanannya pada 6 Mei 2019. Belum jelas alasan apa yang membuat situs shortlink ini memutuskan untuk menghentikan layanan pemendek url berbayar kepada ribuan publishernya. Pihak LinkShrink hanya mengatakan bahwa perusahaan ingin lebih fokus terhadap apa yang perusahaan sukai.
Setelah penutupan ini, LinkShrink memastikan bahwa link aktif yang ditanam pada website atau blog masih dapat berfungsi selama beberapa minggu hingga layanan tersebut mengirim kembali pemberitahuan untuk langkah selanjutnya.

Linkshrink will be closing its doors on 6th May 2019
You will be able to log in to your account and request your unpaid earnings until 6th May 2019. After 6th May 2019 access to your account will be removed. The last payment batch will be done on the 7th May 2019. Any active shrinked links will remain working for the following weeks so that your service is not interrupted.
